Tristian ready for some baseball time.! go boy...

Well today was the first day of the Youth Ranch Rodeo series at the Bar None Cowboy Church in Tatum, Texas.... We have three more to go... And today was HOT (good ole' Texas heat 90 degrees)... I can just imagine what August 1st and 2nd will be like. WHEW! not looking forward to the heat. Well right now in points Taylor's Team Scared Spur Ranch is ranking #5..not too bad ----got a little work to do..but they can do it.. Tanner cut his finger in the first event..(but he is ok) he had both feet and we would have had a really good time but sometimes things do go as we plan.....

Tristian's team BW&L Cattle Ranch.. is placing 4th.... no bad.. got great.. but this is their first time to compete..They were doing really well in mugging till they didn't get the feet tied tight enough and the calf kicked loose go we got a NO time.. but they will learn..

Well it has been busy around here.. We had a baseball game tonight 21-3 it was not a good game. However;Tuesday night we had a great night---- won our first game of the season 11-1. We were really playing ball. Tristian has really improved this year. He has been playing First BASE!... and Has really been a hitter.(he has a problem batting in the past). He almost hit my van a few weeks ago at practice. And he has really been tring to get his team motivated to play together as a team.! You go Tristian... We got our baseball pictures tonight ---They look just like him NO SMILE! (he got that from my Dad)

Tristian and Taylor went with Uncle Homer last weekend on Saturday to a birthday party and to do a little roping. Then Sunday was church and they had the Branding (One goes into the herd ropes the back feet only and pulls the cow across the line and then the other two on the team has to flip the cow and then the last team mate come in an (pretends) to brand the cow) (in two minutes).. Both boys participated Taylor was on team with his Uncle HD, Kris, Savannah, and then Tristian was with Uncle Homer, Brent and his son.. Then Taylor had his own team of Him, Tanner, Colt and someone I forget who and they all got a NO TIME>> it was harder than they thought it was gonna be. But they had a good time. The weather on the other hand could not decide if it wanted to rain or the sun to shine...


Well Kim and the girls got the outside of Mom's house painted. It looks better...NO longer pee green..UGH.. lived with it for 37 years nice to have a change. Taylor mowed part of the grass on Monday just so they could put up the pool that Kim bought the girls. That was after him a Tristian mowed my front and back yard.. man did it need to be mowed.. Well I will try and up load some pictures hopefully this weekend..! We have our first Youth Ranch Rodeo on Saturday are Bar NONE this will be Tristian first time to compete with his own team.. IT should be interesting...

Yesterday we had another Game the Padres did a whole lot better we actually played like a team. Made some good hits.. Made some really good plays. Final shore was 5 to 4 in the other teams favor. But we at least scored and we played like an actual baseball team. We were down and ready to play. Tristian played 1st base.. he really wants to play catcher but he does a good job on first.. So I think he needs to just stay at first. He is hitting a whole lot better this year.

Tomorrow is Dustin's Birthday ..he will be the birthday boy.. I really miss my little "SEXY MAN"... This will be the first birthday I have missed! DUSTIN ====MeMe hopes you have a HAPPY Birthday.. LOVE U.......

Well as you can see from the cheer squad Baseball has started.. We had a game Tuesday night, had practice tonight and have another game tomorrow evening.. Hoping that tomorrow will be better. We have had a rough start this season. Tristian is on a new team that has 6 new players and 6 somewhat seasoned players. So it is a learning process. I was really proud Tristian was the only player Tuesday to hit the ball..he made it to first and stole second and stole third and then our batter struck out so..we didn't make it home.. He got second bat ---got hit by the ball (he was ok) walked to first base then stole second and stole third base and batter struck out again..sooo he was a little disappoint.. He was really hitting tonight..I hope he does that well tomorrow night.. Tonight he almost hit my van..I was parked by the fence and the ball hit the fence and bounced.. Whew! ... that was a close one.. won't park there anymore...lol...As you can see Brody came to the game Tuesday he was cheering on Tristian or maybe the dog at the end of the bleachers not sure..lol...

Ya Ya wearing Tater favorite shirt.. Taylor missed church on Sunday he was with his Dad ....so he wasn't got to get to see YaYa in her shirt..So we took a couple pictures ...just becaus.... she is good cute...he does not know how lucky he is................
